We live our lives at such fast pace that we need to be reminded to slow down, take a deep breath, and just eat a cookie.
To remind the good citizens of the interwebs of this simple, but often overlooked fact, my calendar is inspired by the “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster issued by the British government in 1939. The poster had a bit of a creative resurgence in 2000 when artists transformed it into an iconic piece of art by substituting witty statements.
I wanted to try my own version of the poster using the power of chocolate chip cookies to make a statement— a rallying cry for the cookie and time deprived.
I replaced the crown with heart-shaped cookie, to commemorate the most memorable event in February which is Valentine’s Day. Since I was hungry while putting this together, I took a bite out of the cookie.
Have a short but great month of February!
