Wallpaper: Secret Life of Snails
Have you ever walked outside after a rainy night and noticed glistening trails snaking along the sidewalk or up the side of your house?
For this wallpaper, I imagined what the secret life of snails must be like. Because their movements are so slow and methodical (kind of like some artists), I’m convinced that there has got to be a method to the madness.
Using photography, Photoshop and Illustrator for the vector elements, I created a sort of “glimpse” into my version of what a snail might see on a daily basis. I kept the hardware of the faucet, and the shells of the snails pretty defined while softening the “trails,” lending a surreal effect to the overall look and feel.

This is one of my favorite AgencyNet backgrounds to date. I happen take a lot of photographs of rusted objects focusing on materials that most people would walk by and never take a second glance at.
You have taken an everyday “faucet” and brought it to life using a combination of mixed media. Great job and looking forward to the next one!
