Wallpaper: Winter Wonderland
It never snows in South Florida.
Ever. Well, not since I can remember. Being a born and raised Floridian, I think that’s why I tend to gravitate towards snowy winter scenes for the holidays. Even though I don’t live in the snow and the cold myself, I can still always put snowflakes and white powdered mountaintops up on my desktop and live vicariously through them.
My winter wonderland consists of mostly vector elements, with a little Photoshop magic thrown in there. Enjoy, and have a wonderful holiday everyone!

I really love this design, you made a really good work Melanie. This design is really hacking the limits of the themeswicher, so let’s say it that way: it’s awesome!

Your headline is giving me flashbacks to old New Found Glory records.
Love the wallpaper.

I absolutely love the theme on this site with the winter wonderland background.
Would you kindly consider posting a tutorial someday on how you accomplished this look? I’ve read the sourcecode over and over again, but still can’t wrap my brain around how it’s being done. (I use wp as well).

Thank you for the theme love!
The effect was inspired by http://silverbackapp.com/
Here is a step by step of how to recreate it – http://bit.ly/6ol7vc

As far as the snow on the bottom, it is a div absolutely positioned with a transparent png set as a background.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
