Update: AgencyNet wins prestigious Webby Award for OwnYourC.com
The Webby Awards named OwnYourC the Best Youth Website of 2007. Hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet” by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The 11th Annual Webby Awards received a record 8,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states.
“The Webby Awards honors the outstanding work that is setting the standards for the Internet,” said David Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards. “OwnYourC, Best Youth Winner is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”
OwnYourC is an anti-tobacco campaign targeting youth for the State of Colorado. A collaboration between interactive powerhouse AgencyNet and Cactus, the innovative Colorado-based branding agency, OwnYourC.com is an immersive, engaging and viral destination. Based on the premise that every choice in life defines a person and has its own set of consequences, the site capitalizes on the individual customization only the Web can provide.

Hello! I visited http://www.sharpideas.com today and I found it genial. I’m a young Italian graphic designer who’s trying to get to know better the potentials of Flash. Maybe that’s unusual to ask, but does somebody at Agency Net release .fla examples or tutorials? I would like to understand the script on which Cactus Sharp Ideas site is based on, because it perfectly embodies the idea of random navigation that I’m trying to convey for a University project I’m working on.
